Expansion

In 2005, The West Coast Native Health Care Society expanded its focus to include future care and housing expansion opportunities, establishing a Building Committee for that purpose.

In 2009, Under the guidance of the WCNHCS Board of Directors, The Building Committee successfully completed a 10-unit Assisted Living wing onto the west side of the Long-Term Care Facility.

In 2019 we opened 13 Long-Term Care beds (RG13) and 20 Seniors’ Affordable Housing apartments (?A taa pis).

Huupsistas (RG48 Project) Currently under construction, the project includes 35 one-bedroom units, 10 fully accessible one-bedroom units, and 3 two bedroom units. Expected opening date is November 1st, 2022. Rental applications are now being accepted for occupancy.
